INFRARED SAUNA

Our infrared sauna is in the top of its class. While the sauna temperature is set anywhere between 100 and 140 degrees, the therapeutic infrared lights only contribute 1% of the heat, providing the highest amount of therapeutic infrared.

The Near Infrared LED lights work to transform your skin by reducing fine lines, stimulating collagen production, and targeting skin inflammation.

Mid Infrared targets inflammation head on. MIR will be absorbed directly into the soft tissue providing overall healing resulting in pain relief, improved oxygen circulation, and weight loss.

Far Infrared works at a cellular level where toxins are stores. FIR will raise the body's core temperature stimulating the sweat glands resulting in a deep detoxifying sweat. The process increases heart rate, cardiac output, and metabolic rate, causing the body to burn calories.

As these three wavelengths work together you will see and feel an overall improvement in  cellular and immune health,  wound healing, skin purification, weight loss, circulation, detoxification, blood pressure, and relaxation. Studies have shown that after 30 minutes in this sauna, individuals had a week free of anxiety and depression symptoms.

WHAT TO EXPECT

WHAT TO WEAR

In the sauna you should wear light breathable fabrics. Athletic shorts, tank tops, sports bras, oversized tee shirts, or even a swim suit would be great choices.

BEFORE

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! In the sauna your body will be sweating out toxins, so be sure to drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration. Allow 60 minutes after eating before entering sauna.

DURING

The sauna has preprogrammed settings that can be adjusted to fit specific needs and goals. If the sauna ever feels too hot, be sure to tell an employee so they can make you comfortable. Do not be surprised if you do not sweat in your first few treatments. Sweating will increase with regular use, removing toxins and leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. You are also welcome and encouraged to bring water into the sauna. We will have a refilling station if you bring your own bottle.

AFTER

Again, hydrate. Your body will continue to detox after you exit the sauna. Be sure to hydrate to help flush the toxins completely.

If you plan to next use the cryotherapy chamber, you will need to be sure you are completely dried, including your hair and clothing. Ask the front desk for a change of clothes if you don't have any.
