COMPRESSION THERAPY
Compression therapy is used by restricting different areas to push blood back toward the heart. This will encourage blood to travel to more constricted areas and improve overall blood circulation. Increased blood circulation helps sore muscles recover faster, enhances athletic performance, prevention and treatment of varicose veins, and reduced risk of blood clots.
Compression therapy is also a key player in breaking up lactic acid the and draining the lymphatic system. Symptoms of a clogged lymphatic system include: swelling, stiffness and soreness, cold hands and feet, brain fog, chronic fatigue, depression, bloating, and excessive weight. Using compression therapy in tandem with other therapies, especially infrared sauna therapy, will boost your results

WHAT TO EXPECT
WHAT TO WEAR
Athletic wear. If you do not have them or bring them, ask the front desk!
BEFORE
No prep for compression therapy! Do drink water to help flush your lymphatic system. You can do compression before or after the other therapies.
DURING
During compression therapy, you can pick to have a leg, hip, or arm suit. You can choose the length of your treatment up to 20 minutes. While in the suit, relax in a comfy chair, and watch tv, read a book, or just enjoy some downtime.
AFTER
Continue drinking water after your treatment to be sure to flush out all the toxins. A minimal of 4 times per month is recommended, especially for those who have low health. As you build treatment frequency, you should still take 1 day between treatments for your body to adjust.
